I was born in Stanford, CA and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area.
During my undergrad years, I studied:
Computer Science (EECS/Course 6) and
Brain and Cognitive Sciences (BCS/Course 9)
at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, MA.
My M.Eng is also in Computer Science, and also from MIT, at CSAIL in the Genesis Group.

I am passionate about Artifical Intelligence, Human Computer Interaction, as well as Medical Imaging Algorithms, and have focused my research on them. I have done research in wireless signal processing, interactive visualization, and neural imaging algorithms. My current work focuses on making the most current information available to cancer researchers via an artificially intelligent system which stitches together representations of cancer pathways from recent literature and generates interactive visualizations of them.
